The DRO works diligently to ensure that students with disabilities are provided an equal opportunity to participate in courses and programs by determining appropriate accommodations for students and serving as a resource to faculty in helping them understand their obligation in the provision of approved accommodations. Visitors without an appointment are encouraged to make an appointment or call 919-515-7653 before stopping by the office to ensure the appropriate staff are available for assistance.  

The DRO follows the normal operating schedule of the university, including observed holidays and inclement weather.

*Since some individuals have reactions to perfumes and fragrances found in beauty and personal hygiene products, the DRO asks that our visitors refrain from wearing perfume, cologne, and other fragrances, and use unscented personal care products, when possible, in order to promote a fragrance-free environment.
