In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and state law, NC State is committed to ensuring that no qualified individual with a disability in the United States shall be excluded from, denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity.
The DRO works diligently to ensure that students with disabilities are provided an inclusive experience and equal opportunity to participate in courses and programs by determining eligibility for accommodations and serving as a resource to faculty in helping them understand their obligation in providing equal access. If you have any questions or need clarification, please contact us.
Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The DRO follows the normal operating schedule of the university, including observed holidays and inclement weather.
*Since some individuals have reactions to perfumes and fragrances found in beauty and personal hygiene products, the DRO asks that our visitors refrain from wearing perfume, cologne, and other fragrances, and use unscented personal care products, when possible, in order to promote a fragrance-free environment.
