Priority Registration

Priority registration means that students have early registration.  Priority Registration is provided so that students can schedule courses to utilize accommodations, not for convenience.  For example, back-to-back courses jeopardizes the ability to use extended time on tests. Scheduling courses for work, certain days off, or to help with transportation may complicate the accommodation process.  The DRO understands that in some instances, scheduling back-to-back courses is unavoidable. The DRO will work with you and the Instructor on making different arrangements when necessary. Priority registration can be completed independently; however, students who need accommodations or services to participate in priority registration should contact theDRO. Appointments are also available to discuss access issues related to the class schedule. Responsibilities are as follows:

Student

  • Work with adviser on planning schedule.
  • Schedule courses so accommodations can be utilized without interfering with other course meetings.
